Our new favourite place in Sherwood Park for sure, and easy top three in Edmonton and area. Been a couple times now, tried a variety of things on the menu, theyve all been great. The Tortas and the tacos are really great. The nachos were awesome too everything made in house from what I can tell. You can see right into the kitchen and it is spotless. The service we have received has been excellent as well; friendly, informative and very helpful. Ive told everyone about this place and it is a must try. Call ahead for reservations though because it fills up.
Great quality, huge portions, authentic flavors and really friendly and attentive staff. Loved my chilaquiles and the cochinitas is some of the best flavored pork I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Hope I can save room for churros next time. They (and everything coming out of the kitchen) looked incredible!
Absolutely amazing. Every dish impressed and the service was the best I’ve ever had. Loved seeing the chef walk through, chat with the customers and eve. Clear tables himself. Couldn’t be more happy!
My Hubby and I have been looking for a good place to enjoy Mexican food in the greater Edmonton area and are once again disappointed. The decor is fine, the servers were good, the food was even very good but unfortunately not worth the very unreasonable price. It did not help that the kitchen got both mine and my husbands order wrong, I ordered the chorizo and cheese torta and was served flank steak, hubby ordered enchiladas with the hotter sauce and ended up with a sauce that tasted like tomato sauce straight out of the can.From reading the menu I was expecting a warm sandwich with a side of refried black beans, I got a skimpy sandwich and a garnish of pickled jalapenos. For my $18 I would think I would get more food, after all rice and beans are not expensive, hard to find or hard to cook. Hubbies plate was flavorful but like I said not what he ordered and for the $22 not a good value. Having enjoyed a hardy and delicious Mexican meal the week before in another city La Patrona was a big let down.
Today was the second time Ive been here, and Im even more blown away by the food! Its the most authentic Mexican food Ive had ever. Im so happy that my bd and I decided to try this place out. I think next will be brunch here.
Great little Mexican restaurant inside a strip mall. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. This is truly a gem inside of Sherwood Park.
