Our book club recently visited Life and it was an enjoyable experience. I ordered the roasted salad and it was yummy! Perfect size and seasoning. The quality and variety of veggies were I also ordered the gnocchi and deep fried risotto balls. Service was great and atmosphere perfect for our event. However What impressed me the most was their knowledge of allergens and quick communication to inform me. OUTSTANDING! This should be common knowledge in the restaurant business but it’s actually scary how many restaurants in YEG have NO understanding of allergies. Thanks for making my dining experience worry free and of course Thanks for a great meal!

I was a little surprised that there was a 15% charge and then gave a 15% tip. Ended up a 30% tip. Food was good but I think the surcharge is a scam. Will not go back

Looking for someplace different to try, and thought we’d give this local business a try. Nice atmosphere, maybe not particularly Italian-looking, and about 40% full on a Saturday evening.Friendly staff, but it took a while to get our glasses of wine (I was pleased to see a barbera on the menu). We started with a grilled vegetable salad and some calamari. The veggies were flavourful, with a nice balsamic drizzle, but they were a little shy with the peppers and smoked Gouda, and maybe a little potato-heavy. The calamari was tasty, the breading was light and crisp, but maybe applied a bit thickly. The accompanying tomato sauce had a nice kick.I had the spaghetti carbonara, and it was very nice, rich and creamy, the sauce maybe a hair thick. My wife had the veal marsala, with fettuccine and a Rose sauce, and the veal was a little tough although the mushroom sauce was tasty. Her pasta sauce was also a little thick, but enjoyable. All in all, it was a nice meal, we’d go again, probably a 3.75 out of 5, if we could do that.

This is one of the best restaurants we have been too. My son who is 7 said this is his favorite restaurant, he ate so much i could not believe it. My son is a very picky eater but said this food was the best he had so far. I was impressed at how nice the restaurant is, the staff are great and treated my children so good, like family. The food was excellent and i am really surprised by the comments on here because this was better than Via Cibo they all talk about. I would recommend this place to all who read this!

I’ve been wanting to check out this new restaurant for a while and I’m so glad I did! It was a Tuesday night when I went and it was pretty empty. Our hostess/waitress was very kind. I got the Four Cheese Tortellini for what I thought was a reasonable price of $14.95. The amount of pasta was huge and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cheese sauce was delicious. The small slice of garlic toast was just enough considering the portion of pasta. I also ordered a Ginger Mango Mojito that was a bit lacking in the mint flavour, but still a refreshing drink. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo and was very pleased with it. After dinner we had no room for desert or coffee so I cannot comment on that. I would definitely go there again!

I was really excited that a new Italian restaurant has opened in Sherwood. park. And now I am disappointed that I can not give it a positive review. The server would not leave us alone. Constantly asking us if we liked it. She also brought our apps and main courses at the same time. So we had to ask for our pasta to stay warm in the kitchen while we ate. The Arancini was lacking flavor, the prosciutto in meloni was a large portion but Canadian not Italian. The lasagna was less than average in flavor and the Gorgonzola gnocchi was missing the Gorgonzola with a runny sauce!!!! For dessert it was tiramisu that was overly chocolate and dry. When our bill arrived the prices on it were higher than the menu. Sad but all true. Sorry I can’t and will not recommend this place, choose another Italian restaurant.
