This place is over priced for what you get. We ordered calamari and spaghetti. The dip for the calamari was bland, overly thick and hard to dip your calamari in. The spaghetti it self was cooked properly but sauce was ok. I think Boston pizza spaghetti mountain is better. Kids meal is pasta with either red or white sauce. I ask what kind of pasta is it, they say whatever we have extra of. So pretty much left overs. So I ask if they can just mix the red and white to make a rose sauce, they can but itll be an extra $5 to do that!The highlight of the meal was the bread. We came for lunch, maybe 12 people in total, we were 8. Food came out slow considering it was dead.
In response to your groupon rebuttal I want to say that the pizza sauce was the main source of excessive saltiness. The ingredients were sparsely topped and not the main offenders. I ate only one slice due to my disappointment. Also, after no action was taken to remedy or suggest remedy for the failed arancini I saw no reason to further comment. It was clear the restaurant had no intention for immediate improvement. After the arancini, the server was apprehensive to collect our feedback for the mains. She generally avoided us. The recent rebuttal now puts my opinion at zero stars but unfortunately google won’t let me choose zero. The rebuttal is very defensive and has a tone of insulting the person eating it. I am a food lover and have a lot of experience in the restaurant industry as an employee and as a patron. For instance, Bechamel is a science and it was not executed to a just standard. Take feedback as something to grow from instead of insulting your patron.Life’s response:Good evening L, I just want to reaffirm your pizza you ordered was salsiccia pizza ingredients are mentioned in the menu are Spicy Italian sausages, red onions, olives, peppers makes it spicy and salty. There wasn’t any complaints made by you at the premises and you decided to eat all of the dishes so we did not have the opportunity to address it at the time and provide you with a new and hot lasagna.Original review:Server was friendly but still a little slow given that there were only a table or two aside from us. Arancini were poorly executed, bland, overcooked risotto and lacked that fried crunch. Our lasagna was cold in center, quite salty and the pizza sauce was too salty and spicy. The bechamel did not have a wonderful rich custard texture. Instead it was overcooked and ended up greasy and runny. 🙁
