Very good portions. I found the fries a little bit too salty but we hardly use salt at home so that could be why. Friendly server and nice laid back atmosphere.
Excellent service, extremely fast and everything on our Memphis Platter was delicious! We thought maybe it wouldn’t be enough for the 4 of us, but we even ended up taking a little bit home, and all for a, great price! Thx to the owner James, who also served us, for the great experience!
Feeling like Frank Underwood from #HouseofCards eating dem ribs. Such tender juicy southern ribs that I wouldn’t mind eating all day all day. I like the option of sauce on the side cause overly sauced meat like some BBQ places really make for a shitty rib that doesn’t give you the option to taste it’s smoky flavor. All the sides were surprisingly good, but shout out to the potato salad that is made fresh daily. You da real MVP. Place got TV’s with all the sports on, and this location is probably better than the millwoods location because the service was alot faster. Best BBQ in Sherwood Park for sure and better than Meat because it’s less pretentious and has places to park your car. Also you don’t have to sit next to strangers….maybe @the__ip__man will, like Freddy in HOC.Sal says: Just eat it#food #foodie #instafood #delicious #foodporn #yummy #meat #ribs #yeg #lunch
Tried Memphis Blues today for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It’s a small fast food kind of place where you order at the counter, there are no waiters, but the food was really good. We ordered the Memphis platter so that we could try some of everything, there was just two of us and we didn’t even get half of it down. I think the sausage was the best followed by the brisket. The ribs and chicken were great as well, my wife liked the pulled pork and corn bread. If you want some BBQ this is a good place to try, it is a little pricey though but worth a try.
My husband, daughter and I decided to go here for supper on a whim. I’m so glad we did. It Is our new fav in Sherwood park. The food was awesome! The service was great. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely go back!
Came for supper on Friday night. No reservation and we got sat right down(a few people had to wait after us, but under 10 mins). The menu options are on point with any bbq joint(meat and alcohol). We ordered the Memphis platter($55), saying its a big platter doesn’t do it justice. it’s huge, we squared up for battle but there was no way 2 people could tame it without spending the rest of your night in pain(we tried). the platter comes with ribs, rib ends, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, sausage and your usual sides of cornbread, beans etc. First off the pulled porkwas the winner, Which isn’t much of a surprise, But the chicken was right behind in terms of flavor which I think is.Perfectly moist, full of flavor and just the right amount of smoke. The brisket , ribs and sausage were all good as well they didn’t quite shine in my opinion. Although it all needs bbq sauce, that is by design. not everybody likes sopping meat and I can appreciate that. The service was good, tho you can tell it was a pretty inexperienced group. but the enthusiasm that they all had kept me quite content. don’t change a thing.Overall I’d happily recommend this place to anyone asides from a southern pit master (or a vegan for that matter), its not the best bbq around but its very good, the prices are well within affordable and the staffare full ofenthusiasm. keep it up guys, ill be back.
Stopped in today with my daughter and certainly glad we did. We ordered the rib ends, the smoked chicken with greens and the cornbread. It was fantastic, extremely tasty, full of flavour, and great portions. We tried the other smokehouse by Millennium Place and this will be our new goto spot. Looking forward to having them cater for us soon. If you aren’t local to Sherwood Park it is worth the trip.
