Dinner at The Memphis Blues Bbq House. Walk up to the counter and order your food from the chalk board above the cashier. Various bbq platters, sandwiches, value packs and appetizers to choose from. Restaurant is also licensed. Staff explain the menu and answer all of our questions before ordering. We order pulled pork bbq poutine and brisket sandwich platters with sides for the table. Poutine order is s very large ( VERY LARGE) order with lots of pork, bbq sauce and grated cheddar/ mozzarella cheese, no gravy . No cheese curds. Bbq sauce is on the salty side and missing flavor, pork is not very tender and grated cheese is not the typical cheese curd. ( missing the cheese curd). Brisket sandwich is served on a bun with our choice of beans and coleslaw. Bbq sauce is missing real bbq flavor, coleslaw is disappointing the beans are warm not hot. Coleslaw and beans are both small portions. Food is prepared in view of the dinners. Meat is unwrapped from plastic and weighed in front of guests. Tables have vinegars , and bbq sauce on them. Bbq sauce is in the runny side with disappointing flavor.
