Quiet local pub. Worn interior with uncomfortable chairs. Food is pub grub flare. Sandwiches are disappointing, small portions, flavorless and greasy with undercooked fries. Beers are cold but half of the taps are empty. Mixed drinks are disappointing and full of ice.
Comfy local pub. Oscars is a warm and homey haunt that’s been operating in Sherwood park for a while now. The vibe is friendly and familiar, and you’ll feel like a regular there even if you’re not. The food is a pleasant surprise, Much better than you’d expect. Though they do fall into some of the less than pleasant food trappings of the small-fry diner, frozen and pre-made foods can be expected, the taste and preparation is better than what I was braced for however. The real draw is the community of the place though, the quiz nights and the odd live musician, the dart boards and just having somewhere quiet to grab a drink where you can relax and have a chat with a friend. My only wish would be a wider drink menu, it would be awesome if I could get a nice craft beer here, or a well made specialty cocktail.

Great neighborhood Pub. If your looking for a pub that has a fun and friendly atmosphere then this is the place to go! The first time I visited this place was because of a live band we wanted to listen to….. Ordered drinks and food and within fifteen minutes Trisha came over to greet us, the food the fun and her and the staffs friendliness has us going back often. If you like live music this is one of the few places in the Park that you can hear it both Friday and Saturday night… Worth checking out!!
