I’ve heard plenty about Richards since they opened, and have eaten there about a half dozen times since they did. Never really understood the hype.Today, I figured I should give them another, honest go. I’ve been eating at a number of donair shops recently (which I won’t admit to my Dr…), and figure that I have a good basis for comparison.Honestly…pretty disappointed.Perhaps the worst meat I’ve had of late. Sure…there was plenty of meat on my Super Donair…but it was salty. Too salty. The sauce took the edge off, but as sweet sauce goes, it wasn’t really very good either.The guys working there weren’t overly polite…or appealing as folks handling my food.So long as Buster’s is open accross the street, and better yet, Famous Donairs isn’t far away…I won’t be back.

The best donair I have had since Roberts donair in Nova Scotia!! They know how to make a real donair. Always friendly and a great value.
Read a review that reflected my thoughts exactly. There is something wrong with that meat….like its ground bone. As I was eating it I knew wouldnt be able to digest it properly anytime soon. I could pick that donair out of a blind taste test out of a hundred. I award you 0 points Richards and may god have mercy on your soul
Lotsa Meat. I have been to a few donair shops in Sherwood Park and by far Richards gives you the most meat, almost to the point of too much. A regular donair is all I can eat. Excellent flavor as well. It is my one and only donair location in Sherwood Park!
