First to Smashburger. Reminded me of 5 guys. Had the bacon avocado burger and sweet potato fries. Tasty burger but the fries were thin and dried out. …

Seriously overpriced, and the pricing was deceitful, didnt show price of the burger just the build your own price. Anyways I ended up paying $18-22 for a burger combo(tip included)….I ordered the truffle mushroom swiss. Didnt have much flavour to it, the patty was definitely underseasoned. I ordered the large size patty, which i didnt like cause the smashed it to a circumference bigger than the bun. I figured they’d use a different bun no, so the bun looked unacceptably small for the burger. For the price, quantity and quality…10/10 would not return.

Took my family of 6 out for dinner for my son’s 8th birthday. Chose Smashburger as my son’s birthday request was to have a milkshake and he wanted to try there’s. Upon ordering I noticed this sign glowing in front of me advertising a free milkshake on your birthday. I advised her that it was my sons birthday and he’d love a milkshake. She responded by asking me for a coupon that he would’ve received in an email. I advised her that he was only 8 years old and did not have an email account and that I had signed up for the smashclub not him. She then asked me for my coupon. I informed her that my son & I were born on different days and therefore I did not have a coupon yet as it isn’t my birthday. I also pointed out that when signing up for the smashclub there’s a requirement to be 13years old effectively making it impossible for anyone under the age of 13 to get a free shake. Don’t get me wrong I don’t need a free shake I just think it’s poor business practice to advertise when your effectively eliminating the demographic that most enjoys a milkshake. FYI the food is great but the customer service could learn a thing or two from McD’s on how to cater to kids!
This is the skinniest chicken burger I have ever had. Burgers are all creatively named but lacking flavor. My blue cheese chicken sandwich left me wanting more cheese, flavor and has made me a no returning customer.
Absolutely disappointed, save yourself time and money go someplace else. The so called Big burger was a thin, flat greasy, over cooked and tasteless excuse for a patty. They try to wow you with their toppings. Try Five guys or Rodeo for a better experience.
Yet another burger place.Service was disorganized. Young lady running the till seemed confused. had to be prompted to give me a order number stand and a cup for my drink.Room was big and spacious. The take out waiting bar was nice and efficient. The Milkshake machine was crazy loud. You had to shout to be heard when it was running. They really need consider a quieter machine or moving it in to the kitchen.I got the Albertan, features a fried egg and fired onions on a kaiser. I found the patty on the thin side. The Smash Fries are Great! Shoe string fries tossed in olive oil and herds. Reminiscent me of a Greek style potatoes but deep fried.I’ll be back to try out another burger but I still prefer Fatburger.
