Always friendly service. Delicious baking. Love the scones. Outstanding Cherry Hill organic coffee. The specialty drinks use good quality, not overly sweet syrup and you can actually taste the coffee. Sherwood Park is lucky to have such a great independent coffee house!

Second visit to social grounds coffeehouse. Service is fast with no friendly today. Order is placed and payed for and arrives a few minutes later to the table. Baking looks greasy in cabinet. Cappochini is hot and a mountain of foam. Tables are quiet and store front is clean. I have heard about the baked daily onsite goodies and great coffee. So tonight we stopped to pick up a coffee to go. Lights are on, open sign is on, open sign is showing on the door and many people are sitting at the tables. We walk up to the counter, we are immediately asked if we are part of the Christmas party. We respond no and start to ask about ordering a coffee. Before we finish asking we are told they are closed that they apologize for not changing the sign and tell us they can’t help us. A bit of a shock that they are not willing to make us a coffee to go when the place is full with eating and drinking customers at 3 minutes after seven. I understand closing time but with everything open and on, chasing customers away is not wise business.
