I was keen to try this place as I am a big fan of Japanese food. My aunt and I went on a Tuesday for lunch at the opening time of 11:30 and it wasn’t busy. Servers were very attentive and friendly, and service was quick. Maybe a little too quick for it not being busy and certainly not in an expected order. We shared green tea which came out first and was soon followed by our shared appetizer the Kakiage which is mixed vegetable strips in a tempura batter. These were excellent and I’d definitely order them again. But then our miso soup came out before we’d even eaten a single portion of the Kakiage and seconds later our main meals. My aunt had the Teriyaki chicken lunch special and she said it was really good. I had the sushi lunch special with an assorted plate (California rolls, tuna maki, tuna, salmon, shrimp and egg). Then our salads were served last! (The specials came with miso soup and salad which I had expected to be served prior to the main). We ended our meal with a nice dish of ice cream (I forgot to take photos). I had the Mango ice cream and it was wonderful and refreshing. My aunt had the green tea ice cream. All in all, it was a nice lunch in a bright, clean and friendly space.

Great new Japanese restaurant that just opened in Sherwood Park. Beautiful decor and delicious food. I really liked their Teppanyaki & udon. Can’t go wrong with either. If you are a big udon fan, you should try their Tempura Udon! It was heavenly. Highly recommend this place.

The service is absolutely amazing! The appetizers&sides are fun to try. Sushi and rice dishes were ok, was hoping for a little more veggies in rice dish but the sushi was flavourful. Gave us a first time complimentary mango cake after dinner. Will be back to try the sesame poutine!
