Decent brunch for cheap and good service. Breakfast was only 12.50 including the side of avocado. Will definitely be returning for future brunches.…

I don’t even know if I can say that I have been here. My boyfriend and I came here one night. We know it is a pub and that it is self seating so the wait staff don’t always see you right away. We timed it on our phones and literally waited 45 minutes and no one even came by to say hi. At which point we angrily stormed out and went somewhere else, just to have to wait all over again when we could have been served here in the first place. DO NOT COME HERE
So so service, not that friendly. Fish tacos have gone down hill big time. Mushy and super messy to eat. Prices for a burger start at $15. Other appetizers and items were priced way way out in the twilight zone. You swear it was year 2025 with prices that high. The decor is all worn out and beaten up big time. The younger crowd can not afford these prices. Just a bunch of old men slurping beer at the bar. I will only return for a big game and the wings. Not the place to go for a meal. Very boring, dull, dark and dreary watering hole if there is no big game. I will return next door to Phoenix Grill where the waitresses greet you with a warm smile as they hold the door open for you and treat you like a million bucks!
Worst service. I’ve been patient with them in the past but I think I’m officially never coming back. 20 minutes to get a drink order, overpriced and outdated food and just awful waitresses.
Wings cold and over cooked. Service slow even when not crowded. Plus pricey compared to other establishments in the area. Location still a plus for us, but probably won’t be back for a while.
Service has always been fast and friendly when I come. Great specials, food is good, portion sizes are very big. Free gravy with your side of fries too. Love how juicy their burgers are. Decor is nice. Lots of seating.
My rating is based on their new brunch. The items are between 7 – 12 dollars, which is a great deal for the portions and quality. The brunch is great! Nice breads, eggs, spices, etc. There are many delicious and creative eggs benny options and they will cook them the way you like them. They use real cheese curds for the breakfast poutine 🙂 They make nice sauces (heavy, but not sickeningly heavy like many pubs) and butters. The potatoes are nice and crispy. I’ve had a few hangover brunches there that hit the spot. The staff are nice. Service can be quite relaxed, as it is a large place. Coffee refills are free.Their menu / chef has changed and are significantly better than those of a few years ago. It is quite dark inside, with bright large-screen TV’s everywhere you look. The crowd seems to be mixed, unlike years ago when it was generally an older crowd.
My son was there last night with some friends. We are from west ireland but the others from the middle east. The waitress was contemptuous to the point that my son was not going to tip. When he saw the others tipped 10% he matched the offer. After the credit card went through she suggested that if they could not afford to pay for their meals they should go to a cheaper place in the future.Date of visit was Sept 2, 2015.
