I am going to do it in point form for easy reading:-they used regular rice not japanese or korean rice, also didn’t add vinegar and let it cool down… the made sushi with the hot rice straight from a rice cooker-the more you order the portion gets smaller, salmon and tuna gets thinner and thinner-hot dishes are salty-Tempura is the only item that they made it right-Operate by mainland chinese, no hat no mesh net on the chefs head-I walked over to the counter to give them the order sheet….you get the idea.
First time coming to this location, and honestly it’s the worst out of the other Fusion locations I’ve been to!! Are all the servers mourning at a funeral that I’m unaware of?? All of them had sad unemotional faces and on top of that we had to flag a server down every single time we needed something (napkins, drink refills, etc). The place is small, bugs flying around and they don’t bring some of the items you write down on the paper. I had to re-order some items because they never brought it around the first time. The food is not fresh, the chicken teriyaki was dismal, don’t get the scallop tempura, and the sushi itself seemed dried out. I like Fusion but definitely will not be back to THIS location.
While eating a deep fried cheese wonton I found a used bandaid inside it and then the staff started laughing. This restaurant does not handle food in a safe way. Also, the manager parks in the handicap space and has no sticker.
Worst restaurant ever! Gawd it was bad on so many levels. Service was extraordinarily bad. They each put each dish, cup and soy sauce on the far end of a table for one, I had to get out of my chair to go get my food!!! Not once did they look at me or say anything as they put the food down. Weird little bones/cartilage in the Lemongrass chicken. I suppose they purchased the cheapest possible chicken and then threw in cartilage to stretch it even further!
The fish and rolls were sub-par the service was an all-time worst experience for me. Our server didn’t bring our drinks nor did she respond when we tried to get her attention on multiple occasions. Then no server came to clear our table or deliver our bill after approx 20 minutes of waiting patiently. This all occurred during a time when the restraint was not remotely busy. It was very negligent (non)service I will never return.
I always go back! Best AYCE sushi lunch and deal in the city! This location is also super clean and you get real glass dishes. Must try! Friends are blown away for the price!
Went here second week of July. My friend and I walked in around 630 PM, it was not busy. The man at the front asked us for how many, we told him two, and he proceeded to wave us in the direction of a table right beside the entrance, we went and sat ourselves. We were there for the all you can eat and there were already menus on the table so we began to look through and mark off the items we would be ordering. 5 minutes goes by, and although many servers have walked past our table, not one has acknowledged us, they looked in the other direction every time. As we were seated next to the entrance and the welcome desk, I turned around multiple times to try and get someone’s attention, no luck. Finally about 12-15 minutes goes by, and no one has come to our table. Another couple walks in, the same man walks up to them, greets them, personally escorts them to the table right beside ours, and within 2 minutes has brought them out tea and water. I am in disbelief at this point because no one has come to our table, STILL. So we leave. On the way out, I stop by the desk and told the woman there that we were leaving because after about 15-20 minutes of waiting, not one of the workers came up to our table. She wasn’t apologetic at all, didn’t seem to care. If it were busy, I could understand. But it wasn’t, and to top it off a couple who showed up after us was helped with no problem while we still weren’t. Save your $30 that the all you can eat costs. the Sushi BBQ Inn on 16 ave is a few minutes away, good service, and great food. I will NEVER return to Fusion Sushi.
