Not much of a selection with the rolls. Been to many sushi restaurant in Calgary and sad to give Fusion the lowest rating. Very slow, tables that came in after me were served first. Miso soup was bland and almost tasted like dirt… Wouldnt recommend and wont be going back.
This was not my favourite. I found all the items to be stale and dry. Will definitely not be coming back. Its too bad because the interior is lovely and open and clean. The sushi was below par and not fresh.
Fusion Sushi offers an AYCE sushi / Thai menu. The selection here is not as much as you would find at other AYCE restaurants. Menu here is fairly standard but most sushi dishes are mainly limited to Tuna and Salmon. The Nigri Sushi came with small portions sashimi other than Salmon. I also had other appetizers like the deep fried scallop (definitely fake scallops for sure), curry chicken cutlets (curry sauce was okay and chicken was soggy), chicken nuggets (small pieces of chicken thighs – not like Mickey D’s). My suggestion would be to offer variety and stop being a plain jane. Service here is good. Monday To Thursday dinner menu is $27.99 per person and a dollar more on the Fri to Sun’s.
