New Ownership?. No Japanese ladies here anymore. Now selling Ginger Beef, wonton soup and Vietnamese subs. I stopped in and ordered the Japanese Curry and was asked if I wanted Pork or Chicken with it. The pork and chicken added is $2 more. I guess you just get curry sauce, salad and rice (your choice of Fried Rice or Steamed Rice) if you don’t want to add meat. lol disappointed is an understatement.

Great service, yummy food – Definitely somewhere to go if you value customer service!. I go to Sunrise deli almost once a week and my first two times I went there they already remembered me and what kind of orders I like! Now I am on a name to name basis with both the owners and they are absolutely wonderful people. Often times when it is not too busy and you’re waiting for your order they will ask you to have a seat and bring you some treats and a cup of water. The food is great, it is home-made food and if you’re looking for just a nice quiet place for brunch here is where to go! I have had nothing but great experiences at this place, they are open for breakfast and lunch for all you work addicts around this area! It is an absolutely joy to be at this place and I enjoy Kam and his wife, they are wonderful wonderful people.
Delicious!!! :D. I absolutely love this place! The curry dish is my favorite, one curry dish is so HUGE, for a reasonable price! 🙂 My mom who is Japanese loves the soba with tempura, I do agree with my mom it is a great dish! 😀 One of my most favorite place in Calgary!!! I totally recommend this place!
I went there to try something new near my work. At first glance, it is a classic hole in the wall. I wasn’t sure what to get so I tried their sunrise burger. It wasn’t anything special, but it hit the spot. I would half the mayo as it was a little sloppy. Bacon would have made it that much better. I didn’t try anything else, so I can’t vouch for any of their other dishes. If you try their Japanese, please write about it.
