For $13.99 the portion is really small. The meat was not fresh, and the cheap out on the coconut milk, added way too much water to make the curry. I have been to Bangkok and Thaiboat’s food is far from authentic, not even close to food court quality. The green curry I tried in Bangkok was spicier, made with lots of thick coconut milk (liquid like but thick texture with full body curry taste, not milky water pee), cherry tomato, etc. Wrong choice for me, will go back to Vietnamese food in this area.This place was quiet when I walked in…should get the vibe and leave right the way. =(

I really enjoyed my experience here. I have been trying a few various Thai restaurants throughout Calgary, and I feel this place has taken my #1 spot so far. There was a nice variety on the menu. I had the Panang curry with coconut rice. It was delicious! I will be back again to try more options. The staff was very friendly, and the bathrooms were super clean!
Awful. Bad service, bland food. Had the green curry with prawns and coconut rice. My husband asked for regular rice and never got it. I asked where his rice was and she said you have coconut rice. The prawns weren’t prawns they were shrimp. The curry was super liquid and tasted like milky water. When I asked about If the curry is always this liquidy waitress said yes, uhhh ok then thats gross. Asked for bill, didn’t get the bill for 15 mins. Awful. Will never go back. Don’t waste your money.
Great food and friendly service. Price is reasonable too. Only thing I can think of that would be negative is portion size could be a little better. Other than that…highly recommended!
I love this place! It’s got tons of character with its nautical-authentic Thai decor complete with neon lights. Above all the food is delicious! It has excellent quality ingredients that are served with great generosity. I ordered a green curry (Thai spicy level) and it was so tasty. The only thing that would make this restaurant better is if they had a greater selection of soups. They only offer very small size Tom-Yum. Hopefully they will add more soup to their menu.
