Not wanting to sound like this contribute is any negative energy but these kind of places is what kill young cooks passion for being a real Cooks. The quality of the food is good as fast foods other than some certain items.Wether its pub or not, people deserve whats their money worth for and That People should able to trust the kitchen and will take necessary actions to meet that expectations. Washroom was dirty too. I wonder how they managed to pass the health inspections. I have seen worser but nice big cozy place like this with so much potential, its a shame I think they need better managers or cooks and staffs who is willing to rebuild the vibe and the atmosphere here.
We ordered from here through skip the dishes the food was cold, toppings were on some pieces not on others. Wings were not crispy tasted old.
Good spot for Sunday breakfie. Bacon and eggs or an omelette with a Ceasar. It’s an interesting space, but kind of underutilized. The owner makes Q on the roof. It’s ok, but this ain’t a Q joint. Kind of amateur. The waitresses are cute but the Scottish plaid skirts are cliche. It’s kind of an English pub without the English food — or hand pulled cask ale. I have to say, I’ve spent time in England and this city really needs an authentic Brit pub with Fry Up Fridays, real English breakfast, black pudding, steak and kidney pie, eggs and chips, Scotch eggs — the works. We’re about halfway there here, but it’s still all about chicken wings, Bud Lite and burgers. Definitely more North American than Brit.
I believe this is one of the better pubs in the NE. The interior is spacious and very clean but they also host a fantastic roof top patio! The service is welcoming and attentive. Their menu is typical pub fare. I was impressed with the selection of wing flavours but still had to try out the suicide and I’ve gotta say I was very disappointed. The sauce is made in house, however they were not enjoyable at all! The heat was there but they were majorly lacking in any kind of flavour. The only element we could taste was the overwhelming amount of chilli flakes that coated the wings. We didn’t even finish them. Not recommended. If you just want a patio, cold beer and aren’t looking for high end food then this place is decent. Next time I think I’ll try the jerk wings
The food is ok. The price of the small portion is way up there. The decor is like most pseudo Irish pubs in town. Over all a bit disappointing. Go if you must. There is better.
Been here a couple times now and the food has been great, lots of beer on tap, some of them however, are quite warm when you get them. If it wasn’t for the frozen glasses it would be disgusting.
Was at the patio here about two weekends ago. The food was not good, ordered a chicken burger with salad. The chicken burger looked like it could be made at home. I had a mimosa for drink, which was good. Wouldn’t go back for the food but would definitely go back for the drinks and the patio experience.
