I’m just getting into smoked meat so I’m not really sure how it’s supposed to taste and the texture but this place does it right. A kid size traditional with Dijon is enough for me, but that meat. Oh that meat. It melts in your mouth. I really hope that’s how it’s supposed to be cause if I went to Montreal and that’s not what happened I’d be super disappointed. The pickle is crunchy and perfect, there is nothing worse than a soggy pickle. Coleslaw was standard, tasty on a hot day but I’ve had better.

Great little place for deli sandwiches. The Reuben had sauerkraut and gouda melted on toasted rye bread. The Bagel & Lox had a toasted bagel with cream cheese, red onion, Casper and smoked salmon, tasted really fresh. Each came with a choice of flavoured chips and house coleslaw. There were about 5 tables available for dine in. Does take a little bit for them to make the sandwiches. Prices are about $10-15.

I was craving a hot dog but I’m trying a diet where I can’t eat bread. They hooked me up with a lettuce wrap hotdog and it was actually the best hot dog I ever had. Right on the money.

Just not good!I wanted to love this place … I really did. Sadly I really didn’t. On a positive note the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The menu offers many options and the mustard selection was a great touch. The bread was fresh and flavourful. That’s about it. Most importantly the smoked meat just didn’t deliver. It didn’t taste fresh and frankly tasted like middle of the road bologna. It was luke warm at best. The toasted bread was soggy … likely from the pickle placed on top of the sandwich inside the container. The low quality doesn’t come close to justifying the comparatively high prices. The hot dog was barely warm as well and I think it was warmed up in a microwave … I am speculating a little here but sure looked like it was. It was a pedestrian dog that wouldn’t hold a candle to anything you would see at Tubby Dog and for $9 it is ridiculous. Long story short … go to Grumans instead.

Perfect place for a quick and delicious bite to eat! Fresh made sandwiches with a choice of chips on the side. They also have Rosso Coffee! Must try if your in Marda Loop for lunch!

Excellent customer service! Got the Reuben with house mustard and I was thrilled with the giant side pickle alone! Wish we discovered this place sooner.

Sadly Overpriced!!. Bought a Tuna Sandwich for $12.60 it was a very small sandwich(wish I had taken a picture to add soup was another $5 that would have been one hell of soup and sandwich combo at $18!! …. came with a few chips and coleslaw outrageous price and I m still hungry. Very disappointing. I must have missed the other half of my meal somewhere?? Will not be returning.
