This is a charming little caf in a very out-of-the-way location, but easily accessible and good parking. Staff are excellent, coffee is good, food is great, and the caf is wonderfully eclectic. Yes, I would definitely return to this small, independent caf in the corner of Marda Loop.
Bell’s is my go-to cafe for when I want to catch up with some friends on a cold winter day. The drinks are delicious, specifically the hot chocolate and chai latte. The atmosphere is cozy and unique. Oh and don’t forget to try their yummy chocolate chip oatmeal cookie!
Cozy neighbourhood Cafe. This place is really nice to stop into for a meet-up with a friend, or if you have a group meeting the big table off the end of the room is handy.Food is great and the coffee pretty decent. Stop in to enjoy the atmosphere and friendly (not so much the owner) staff. Just avoid the seat near the door in winter! Still not sure if they actually sell the books on all those shelves!
What a great find. I needed a quick lunch to go and thought I would try Bell’s. Best iced moccacino ever! I also ordered a smoked turkey wrap and a raisin oatmeal cookie. Fresh and tasty wrap and the cookie was huge, moist, but crunchy on the bottom, excellent! I will definitely be back.
Relaxed and Cozy Place. When I came here for coffee and a snack, I felt like I was going back into the past. This place is woodsy and comfortable. There is an easy going feeling that you cannot find in the chain coffee shops. You can stay here indefinitely and drink your coffee while browsing the used books. The used books are expensive but the coffee and treats are reasonable and tasty. Overall, it is a charming little place!
I had lunch at this charming, rustic little bookstore caf and discovered what all the regulars already knew: the food here is good. You can relax at a table and browse through a few books as you enjoy soup & sandwiches, baked goods or coffee or tea. I had a turkey sandwich made the way I like it and a pretty darn good latt. The service was a little slow (they were busy), but well worth the wait. This is a great place to meet a friend for coffee.
