Grossest sushi Ive had in town. The rolls we got were extremely fishy smelling. The restaurant was also quite filthy during our visit. After the off putting experience weve never been back.

I went on a first date here where conversation was great and time flew by and we ended up closing down the restaurant. We were the last ones at the restaurant. 7 years later my date and I are now married and it’s our first time back tonight. Service was attentive and food was good. I liked the creamy scallop roll. Flames combo is great if you love spicy rolls- spicy tuna, spicy salmon and spicy California rolls. Right in marda loop there was parking right in front or parking on the side streets.

We’re new in town and we wanted to go for sushi but we hadn’t found any great places yet so we thought we’d give Globefish a shot. The atmosphere was comfortable and nice but we didn’t feel out of place bringing our son. They even offered us kids chopsticks. We ordered a few of the special rolls as well as several other dishes and everything was delicious. The Mt. Fuji roll especially was delicious and filling. The octopus croquette was also amazing. Even things as safe and standard as gyoza, veggi tempura, and miso were tasty (and the order sizes were impressive).Good service, good food, good price. I’ll be back.

This place isn’t bad. The menu is catered to the safe eaters who like salmon tuna and rolls. My lunch box was quite large and fish tasted alright. Tempura was decent. Cali roll was…Cali roll. Ate a larger roll with tuna which was good. Next time I’ll order less.

Very nice sushi in the Marda loop area. It has been consistently good. It would be nice if they would take reservations. Tempura quite tasty as well as the tuna tataki. Not really suitable for little ones though some people do bring them.

Good sushi. We have always had a good experience here dining in or take out. I would have to agree with another reviewer regarding the toddlers. We were there one night and it was very disruptive. This is a small restaurant and people are there for a nice dinner out.

Gymboree at Globefish. A busy Friday night-7 p.m. Hoping to have a relaxing evening with a friend only to find it’s babies and toddler night. This is not Humpty’s or Earl’s It’s a small, compact busy restaurant. It’s also 7 p.m. when most babies/toddlers need to go to bed. We had a table of Moms to our right with a busy baby , at times, fussy, throwing toys and sushi/rice on the floor, while Moms enjoyed their 3rd glass of pinot. Glad they enjoyed their evening out. To our left, we had another group of toddlers/babies whose mothers at least didn’t think it as cute when their kids fussed. Thankfully they knew their kids had enough and left promptly instead of prolonging the noise/disruption to the other grown-ups in the restaurant. As for the dining experience-we waited for our appetizer and other orders to arrive while others who came after us got their food before we got even our tempura appetizer. When we got our food, everything arrived at once which made room on the table a challenge. The assorted tempura was luke warm which meant it had been sitting there awhile so could have been served ahead of time when it was hot. Rest of order was good but really didn’t enjoy it as we were constantly disrupted by the noisy kid tables next to us. We basically rushed through our meal and went home disappointed. This is the second time we have had our date night disrupted by parents who let their toddlers throw stuff and make a mess while they enjoy their wining and dining. I feel bad for the staff who have to mop up the mess these parents leave behind. Very disrespectful and selfish. maybe restaurant can have a designated baby/toddler area so other patrons who get babysitters or want a nice evening out can enjoy adult conversation and background music.
