Underdone bacon was sent back and returned as brunt crisps, pancakes came with no syrup untill 15 mins later (had to ask twice). Server spilt a bunch of waffle fries onto the table when passing over the plate.
We attended Marda Gras and decided to skip the food truck scene and try out Mad Rose. I hate writing bad reviews but our experience there was not good. Granted it was busy but right off the get go things went south….either our server was nervous or inexperienced but she forget half our drink menu. We weren’t to upset by that but after 55 mins of no food we became a bit tempered. A Caesar salad, small nachos and fish tacos does not take that long to make. We inquired about cancelling our food order and paying for our drinks. The manager then checked to see how our food was and offered to pack it up and comp our meal….even after checking she informed us it would be a while still….she comped our drinks and we left. The atmosphere seemed great….but thoroughly disappointed in the Mad Rose Pub.
