Popped in for some tacos and was not disappointed. Awesome little shop with a small seating area on one side and a grocery store on the other. The three carne asada tacos came to just over $15 but they were huge and full of meat and they double up on the corn tortillas. The sides were just okay, but the star was the tacos. Also whatever the drink that came with it was, was amazing and refreshing and not too sweet!
A bit underwhelming – everything is a bit pricey and a little bland. The burritos were not especially exciting, filled mainly with rice, and didn’t have a ton of flavour. The chile rellenos were alright, but the sauce they came with had some flavour I really didn’t care for (maybe liquid smoke?). The chorizo empanadas were, again, alright, but not that exciting. However, the corn chips from here are absolutely fantastic, and so are the tortillas. If you’re looking for chips, tortillas, or taco shells, definitely give Tres Marias a visit, but I might skip the main dishes.
