Do not like it!!!. We live in the northeast and have been to Richard’s, Queen’s donair and Primo. The quality at Primo keeps going down. Got the family pack today: 4 donairs with cheese and 4 pops (4 x $0.50 extra for cheese) = $27.xx Donairs were small – smaller than a small at any other place!! Sauce was so thin it ran out to the bottom so couldn’t taste it with the meat, veggies. Veggies were old too. Meat was cut with an electric shaver/knife so they were thin – not the right way to cut meat in my opinion. A bit spicy in taste too.Won’t be coming back. We’ll drive further for better food for the monies.
I did not enjoy this donair place. Personally I did not enjoy this place. I found the meat had a spice that was too overwhelming. The vegetables were old and needed to be thrown out so I ordered only the things that looked edible. I threw half of it out…
Went in one night an got kicked out as soon as we walked.. Didn’t even get to order nothing. The owner just told to get get an that they didn’t want our kind in there
Didn’t really enjoy their donairs. When I was there he cut the meat with some kind of electric slicer, that cuts way too thin.
I go there for lunch about every day and they have to be the best donair shop in Edmonton with pretty good prices.Try it out if u havnt
Great donairs
Best donairs in the city hands down. I’ve been to the queen, marco’s, swiss and every other donair shop imaginable in the greater edmonton area and primo’s wins hands down. the owner kamel is a great, friendly hardworking guy..even offered me a piece of another restaurant he said he was opening because he knew i’m a chef.. anyways back on topic, the meat is the key my friends not just the sauce.. you can have the best tasting sauce in the world but if you throw it on dry flavorless meat you have NOTHING. Fortunately primos has BOTH. this place will always be my number one!!1
