I had the opportunity of visiting these place with my friends some time back. I was really excited to go since I have been hearing very exciting reviews about this place. The place is spacious, and the ambience is nice as well. we ordered papdi Chaat, dahi bhalla and dahi Puri(not in picture).Dahi Puri was a decent one, it needs more flavors, curd and spices to hit the right taste buds.Dahi bhalla was the one which failed to deliver, the vadas were coarser, not soft at all and not at all drenched in the curd or the spices.Papdi Chaat was the best of the lot, the spices and the curd was perfect to the consistency and made it worth our visit. The prices are reasonable, and was worth the amount they serve.
THE BEST street style food from Bombay. And theres a reason the BEST is in capitals. A very clean restaurant with very helpful and efficient staff. The food is absolutely amazing. Its nothing different to what I was used to eating back in Bombay. Im not big into paans but my food buddies were and they had not one bad thing to say about them which basically means they must have been good. My personal favourites are vada pav, pav bhaji, sahi puri, cholle pattice and would I be a true Bombay wala if I didnt say paani puri?! Absolute delight to the bhukkad (glutton) street foodie in me.
I was really excited to check this place out!My husband really wanted to try missal pao as being from Mumbai, we ordered 4 things that were paani poori…dahi puri..missal pao and sandwich and we could eat all diz as quantity was terribly little, there was no stuffing of paani poori given separately and on top of it a little bit was put inside the poori which made it bad jn shape..missal was not garnished with sev and onion and tomato …there was little sev and an ounce of tomato and onion was given..nobody expects so less in a price of $7 , neither was dahi poori garnished ..just served ..sake of serving.Sandwich was only good with proper stuffing and cheese.Paan was served wrapped in pamphlets , menu had south Indian and they said it is not available then for what is such a big place for.. and the interiors of the place was good but pathetic presentation and quantity was like minimal.Expensive surely..hope they understand new openings without a brand name should take an one step extra for their customers.
