So. So. Good. How can you go wrong with an $8.50 lunch combo with 2 pcs of chicken, rice and Caesar salad? I’ll tell ya, serve a salad with some pretty brown lookin pieces of lettuce. That aside, the chicken was so tasty. The sauce they give you on the side is delicious for dipping and this chicken was crispy, fall off the one tenderness that I love in chicken. The area is a bit of a hole in the wall but the restaurants interior didn’t pass off that impression. Definitely worth checking out if you love friends chicken, I’ll definitely be making multiple trips back. Glad I tried it!
Love the sweat and spicy chicken here. Crispy, tasty, finger licken good. Always made fresh to go…but well worth the wait. Family friendly and priced reasonably. Menu is simple but effective. A must try. Recently added in some extra items….I just stick to the family set.. includes 12 pieces, fries and waffle … all you need.
I have tried my fair share of fried chicken and this place is the real deal. Chicken is moist (seems like the brine the chicken) and the batter is light and crisp. Their fries are lightly battered as well and nice and crispy. Their homemade sweet and hot sauce is excellent, I always add some sriracha for extra kick which is great. The kicker is, wait 7 mins and get made to order fried chicken and fries, piping hot!!Home made mom and pop shop will crush any franchise fried chicken joints in the city. Not sure how KFC stays open with the myriad of great chicken joints including CoCo’s!!!
First time here. Went here on Monday night. Compared to SFC, Coco’s is slightly cheaper. Took about 10 min. for my order to be ready. Not bad considering it’s made fresh, well worth the wait. Hot and Spicy sauce is superb. Gravy was also very rich. All and all I had a good experience. I’d go back the next time I crave Korean Fried Chicken.
Love it here! The chicken is always hot and crispy! We usually get a 5-piece combo with fries to split between my husband, our 11-year-old and me. We usually get the spicy sauce on the side so I can dip my chicken in as I eat.
Just came here last night with my friend for dinner and we both ordered the 2 piece of chicken with fries (he got sweet and hot sauce, I got garlic and soy). Overall, the portion size is decent and the price is okay but it is sure tasty.
A bit pricey, but nice crispy delicious fried chicken. Could have used a little more flavor as some of the bigger pieces can be dry. Definitely filling though! Friendly staff and a steady stream of customers coming in. Worth trying out!
