  Poor service low class waitress at the bar Food comes cold if u complaint they blame you So plz ingore this place

  Poor Operation.. I start off by saying that pinball is a guilty pleasure of mine. One of the only reasons that I even go to this place is because they are one of the few licensed spots in the city that have pinball. I convinced my wife that it would be fun if we stopped by and I could teach her how to play.Problem 1- The pinball machine was broken. Not the end of the world these things happen.Problem 2- They will only let you do cash and carry at the bar even if you offer ID and credit cards. Having worked in the industry for longer than I would like to admit I realize that this is a poor tactic taken by people to try and increase their tips as they think that they will average more if you have to pay a gratuity on every single thing you order (including food).Problem 3- Where are all of the servers? Oh there they are sitting with the Security staff eating.Problem 4- Ran out of my brand of beer after one round. Really? It is one of the most popular brands on the planet. I also realize that these things happen but the cooler was visibly bare. I dont know if they were trying to keep it tight for month end inventory but having no selection on a Saturday night is not good for business.The food is typical for an entertainment venue cheesy, greasy, salty not great but not terrible. After spending lord knows how much renovating the outside of the building you think that they would invest in improving the infrastructure of their operations to improve sales and guest frequency but instead they go the route of so many other failures in the city and they just keep jacking up their prices. Boooourns.

  Bowling is super fun but the service is terrible. Pressed for waitress service on our lane 3 times and after a half an hour nobody came. Finally went up to order food and drinks and was told food services ended twenty minutes ago. Are you kidding me? Next time I will make sure I eat before and bring my own beverage.

  Terrible terrible service. I used to go to gateway lanes to have some fun, but only ate there once. i will never go back for the food. this experience was quite a while ago, so i doubt the server we got is still working there. i wouldn’t be suprised if she was new, and got fired in a week. first of all, me and my husband were the only table but it took 10 minutes for the waitress to give us our menus, since she was playing cards at a table nearby. i ordered spring rolls, which didn’t come with a dipping sauce. really?? spring rolls with no sauce?? i had to flag down the waitress, i watched as she asked the kitchen for sauce, then sat down for a cigarette while my sauce sat on the counter. after her cigarette, she gave me my sauce. plum sauce. i should have known better than to order asain spingrolls at a western place… theres no way they’d come with the authentic fish sauce asain restraraunt serve. the waitress then went back to her table of friends to play cards. we had to flag her down for my hubby to have his coke refilled, which she told the bartender, and went back to her table of friends, leaving the coke forgotten, sitting at the bar. are you kidding me?? did i mention we were the only table there?? i would understand if the service sucked because it was busy but eating at this place was a slap in the face to me. we flagged her down to get the bill, which intrestingly enough, she attended to right way, and tipped her 1 cent. she’s lucky she even got that. having worked at a restraunt for years myself, i know how important tips are to a server and i always tip well even if the service is slow. but my experience here was ridiculous. i never ever went back!

  No Thanks!. Went bowling here and did a few rounds of pool so a few friends and I decided to order a few things to munch on. The pizza was alright… when they say a large pizza.. they really mean a medium. The pizza scratched the roof of my mouth so I wasn’t pleased with that. The mozza sticks however were awesome! I would order that again. The nachos were pretty bad… The toppings were just all over the place, they gave a small container of salsa that did not taste fresh at all. To top it off.. the pop there was extremely watered down. Would not recommend going here!

  Okay Service – Poor Food. Our service was okay, not spectacular, not the worst. My main issue with this place was that the only meats available for the pizza’s we were prescribed to get as we had a coupon all contained pork products. Since our group had a member who doesn’t eat pork products we ended up getting a cheese pizza with green peppers. From what I recall the only toppings they had were bacon, pork sausage, pepperoni, tomatoe, onion, pineapple, green peppers and mushrooms.

  Brutal. This has to be one of the worst places in Edmonton to eat. For that matter it may be the worst place I have ever eaten period. Small pathetic menu with not one edible item. As a member of the foosball league i was forced to eat there and have tried the whole menu in seach of something with a little taste and value. Sorry to say the seach was not a success. To add salt to the wound it takes for ever to get the slop you order as the staff turns over every week and is completely useless. I recomend staying away from this poorly managed so called entertainment center. You will leave pissed off and feel like you have been robbed if you spend any money at this joke of a place.
