I ordered the bento box which came which a miso soup. It was very filling. The beef was tender and very tasty. The ambiance was nice and cozy.
The place is very cozy and nice for an outing with your family or loved ones. The food is tasty as well. The staff is knowledgeable about he menu too.
Service was very good. However, I am not a huge fan of the food. I might be spoiled by the Japanese restaurants in YEG (Sushi Wasabi, in particular).
Best sushi in edmonton in my opinion, high quality and consistent. The service is always wonderful. My favorite place to eat for any occasion 🙂
Drove from Lloydminster to South Common to do some shopping and purposely visit this restaurant. Friends recommended this to be good and we thought we would call early to reserve. We called a few minutes before the opening and asked to be seated in the ‘Tatami’ corner. When we arrived there seemed to be a confusion between the host and the server, asked us to wait and they came back to us informing that we cant have the ‘Tatami’ as it was the weekends and they dont open it for 2pax. Ridiculous. There wasnt even a single room occupied. What if we were 2 people who would order more than the usual? What if we were media men? My friend and I who went thought maybe we could take some photos while in the ‘Tatami’ and put in our blogs but to no avail. Just as we were starting our meal we were already dissappointed. Ended this experience horribly. Wont ever comeback!
This definitely is the best sushi place we’ve been to in Edmonton so far. We’ve been to a few sushi places in Edmonton, and many of them were VERY disappointing. This place is run my real Japanese people, making the food and people more authentic. The price is not bad too. Will definitely go again!
