Worst customer service ever !. There is an older blonde lady that works here who has the absolute worst customer service ever. I go in here almost daily on my lunch break from work and order a soup, it comes to $5.75 and I usually leave a $1-2 tip. She is constantly rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing, just a bad attitude all around. Today I waited 10 minutes to even order, and she came over and rolled her eyes at me when I ordered a soup, asked me WHAT?in a rude tone of voice, so I told her again and she and stormed off. Their food is overpriced anyways , but they have good soup. I walked out when she stormed off. I won’t be ordering from there again.
Came in a couple weeks ago. On my lunch break! First time in there food was alright nothing special regular old bar food. The server seemed nice but there wasn’t anyone in the bar and she seemed like she had better things to do then provide proper customer service got the job done but didn’t bother smiling or anything. She sat and bitched about the owners and how much she hated working for them in great detail made it quite uncomfortable when sitting and eating my lunch all in all was a good pit stop for lunch but nothing I would go out of the way for
I went for breakfast and everyone at the table was underwhelmed. The pancakes were flat and bland, the potato pancakes must have been made with pancake batter and instant mashed potatoes, the the sausage was deep fried, and not in a good way. We were disappointed.
The food will leave you soooo hap-pea!!. Monday is half price pizza! Imagine a butter chicken pizza on a fluffy crisp bottom crust for the price of a couple drinks. So filling, one medium is perfect for two people. And the new place is filled with plenty of big screens, clean and modern decor, and two pool tables to boot. The butter chicken meal on its own is very good, and the chili also good (could be a bit spicier). All round, great value.
Easy to find, exterior need update. Interior is dated to mid 90’s. Mediocre club house and I’m not certain but I think the noodles from the beef noodle soup MAY have come from a Mr. Noodles package… I’ll let you decide what that means to you. I came at lunch time on a Tuesday, only one bartender/server and she was attentive but very relaxed about it.. Good prices.
I read the reviews and i said to my girl friend we have to try The Newcastle First Impression was good, nice layout, the waitress was at our table rite away decent beers on tapI ordererd the tai chilli Chicken (it was great)and my girlfriend had a steak sandwich, she said that it was tue best she ever had and when I tried a bite I knew what she was talking about ,very tender tasty meat Only negative thing I can say about the place is the washroom they are a bit old when I mentioned that to the bartender he told me that they are in the process of renovating the washroom Very good experience Good service Amazing food Professional bartender Good deal
I was at the Newcastle Pub on Friday the 20th It wasn’t my first visit I like the place and love their food, atmosphere was great to, I like that the pub has different sections and that u can have good food, drinks and enjoy a nice conversation without been bothered.I liked the blues music they had on.Staff was friendly and service was good.On top of that I had the chance to attent a cheque presentation for The Little Warriors Organisation it was for $23350.00 When I asked about it I was told that the cheque amount was raised by The Newcastle Pub Little Warriors Poker Run organized by a lady named Joey and The Newcastle Pub for the third year making the total amount raised close to $59000.00 for the 3years.God bless you both for a great job and for choosing a well deserving cause.That made me happy and for sure will be back not only for the food and drinks but for the cause that this pub supports too.
