I had a really good chicken and shrimp vermicelli dish. Was delicious! The vegetable dumplings were really good. My boyfriend got the curried chicken soup and it was very disappointing. Instead of chicken it was a chicken bone and bits of bone in the soup. Nothing much to it.. wouldn’t recommend that dish.
This used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant of all time, for years. Lately it seems to be inconsistent in quality and the prices are really high. Sadly this is no longer my go to place for Vietnamese
A tucked away hidden gem of a restaurant that has amazing vermicelli and other great Vietnamese dishes. This is truly a hidden gem among restaurants and I am glad I ate here.
Had the Satay soup and the broth had a lot of different ingredients. Vegetables, ETC. That’s something you don’t find in a lot of restaurants who serve Satay soup. Sign of quality in my books. The broth was also nice and thick which is the way I love it. Some don’t.The noodles were hot, temperature wise. Another bonus. If you like it spicy you’ll have to add more chili oil. Lime came on the side and a nice pot of tea. Neato. The down side was the cost. Regular $13 and large $15 which is WAY too expensive.
Not overly impressed with the food or service. We packed up 50% of our meals cuz they weren’t very tasty. Large selection of the menu but doesn’t seem very fresh. Pho broth was extremely salty we won’t be back
Outstanding family run Vietnamese restaurant in South Edmonton. We eat here often. I love that they’ll bend over backwards to veganize my stuff. A real gem!
Our favorite place to go for pho or beef satay soup. Feels kind of like a grandma’s basement, but it adds to the charm. The prices are great and the food is delicious.
