Absolutely disgusting customer service. After a failed attempt at getting my 2 orders correct, I was told there was nothing that could be done to make things right. I was also told to my face that I was liar when I asked where my combo spring rolls were after I already paid for them. I enjoyed the food previously and enjoyed going to Saigon Hut but won’t be returning nor will my 10 other co-workers.
Lady had zero customer service. Based on this will not return. Got our order wrong wanted to charge us for another order. Ask if we wamted a combo said yes, then proceeded to ask what we wanted for a drink. When the order arrives wrong we didn’t have the combo spring rolls and she said well you didn’t want a combo however we asked but only received a cola. She then called me a liar. Have had food here previously really good but too bad will not return
Love this place! The service is absolutely great, and the food is amazing, the best wonton soup and deep fried wontons ever, love it
Good stuff. I go here quite often and almost always stick with the chicken or beef sandwich. It is fantastic: great bread, meat cooked and seasoned nicely and the slaw & sauce are a perfect match. I also often get the salad rolls with it which are great too.I tried the pho soup once and it was ok, but there are much better soups elsewhere in the city.Overall a good place to eat.
Its good if you remember this is fast food, like edo japan.
Wonderful Atmosphere. I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about, I think the food is amazing here! I’ve tried everything on their menu and I actually like every single dish! the only problem I ever have is deciding on what I want to eat that day! I have built a great relationship with the ladies that work there and they have never been rude to me or anyone else i’ve seen. It’s nice having such honest business owners that tell you where and when they just bought groceries last so you know exactly what you are eating and where it came from. The vegetables and noodles are always fresh and the soups are tastefully crafted. I love their salad roll sauce! I don’t know any other restaurant that has a sauce like that! I am definitely going to be a Saigon Hut regular for a long time.
Service Rude, Food Tasteless – Save your money. Went tonight with a Groupon I had bought. Lady at front refused to take our Groupon stating we had already used it and that we were trying to steal from her. Give me a break. How rude! I couldn’t believe the way we were treated. As hubby and son were still hungry and we had driven across town to use the Groupons (we had two) we did order and ate. Vermicelli has zero flavour. Notta. None. Sausage looked like my dog’s treats, yuck. Spring rolls were good and flavourful. Table was dirty, cutlery which is left on the table was dirty, could not get a glass for a glass of water. No napkins on table. Sauce bottles on table were dirty and sticky. Place was busy with everyone using their Groupons on the last day, more than 1/2 the tables left the food. Will we return? Never. Terrible, horrible service. Only go here if you want to be verbally abused.
