  This is the worst restaurant you can visit on earth. That old too much talkative guy, who is the owner/server, is extremely offensive, and does not have any respect for his customers. His behavior was so bad that me and my family had to leave the restaurant without eating. THIS GUY SHOULD BE PLACED IN A ZOO OR IN A MUSEUM, not in a restaurant.

  This is the worse food I have ever had. I ordered Goat Karahi and Paya for take out. The food looked awful when I opened it and I thought it would taste good. Boy I was wrong!!!!!. It was so pricy and last but not least my family members refused to eat after 1 bite.!!!!!

  This restaurant is quite a funny place .its owner who is also receptionist/ manager and a server and above all a super talkative person who will never accept any mistake rather try to make fun of you or show you attitude to avoid your displeasure. I have went there a few times and each time I had a different experience but there are certain things which were common in each visit such as he will never welcome a guest in a professional manner one can sit any where he/she likes and he will not get paper napkins unless he asked for them. Water is in cooler go get yourself he will not give water. He will disappear in the kitchen and customer will keep waiting for 15/20 minutes to pay his bill and if anyone compliant about his good behaviour he will be super mean with zero customer service. His favourite item in buffet lunch or dinner is daal Chana which comes in his menu in variety of ways first in the form of a daal then as a Haleem and a kind of Haleem that I have never seen in life with entire grains of wheat and daals as it is then Khari which technically again a form of daal or chick peas powder blended with yugort and last but not the least Pakora which is again another form of Daal Chana. The way he make calculations for the order is another interesting thing. Your bill for just 1 or 2 items will be somewhere between $21 to $35 and you will think what I eat is daal in one form or another and a couple of bread how he came up with this magic number LoL I dont know about you guys but I would prefer to make my own food then pay such a scam artist

  I went to Shafi tandoori grill several times with friends because they insisted that the restaurant makes great whole Tandoori chicken. Each visit I noticed that the buffetwas either unavailable or dishes were empty looking. Mostof the dishes that I tried off the menu other thanwhole Tandoori chicken werea disgrace, and bad value for one’s hard earned money as they seriously lacked in taste and quantity.The owner works here all the time, I think that the restaurant does not generate enough revenue to justify cost of hiring staff, no surprise!!. In my two visits out of the three, the Tandoori chicken was very delicious. Third time I took my family and ordered the Tandoori chicken as usual and this time the chicken tasted different, looked different, was yellow and to make matters worse, very much burnt. The size of the chicken was small as well.The most notable thing whichspeaks about the patheticattitude,worst customer service, asubpar dish, and poorly managed restaurantis the fact that the owner himself had theaudacity to serve such an unappetizing and poorly prepared dish to usby his very own hands.My daughter who is a big fan of butter chicken was alsogreatly disappointed to see the skimpy portion of her order, theportion size wasless than acceptableand inadequate for even one person, on top ofthat the the dish in tastewas no wherecloseto butter chicken. I pointed this out to the owner, wonderinghow my tandoori chicken changed so much in taste, appearence and size since my visit last week.Theowner, who is the boss of talk, at least he thinks he is, and little does he realize that, people take the time to drive here to get themselves a decent meal of reasonable quality for the money they are spending, any ways the owner’s respone was thathe changed the recipe of the Tandoori chicken. The owner also carelessly puts the bill together, your numbers and his don’t match,end result is thatone leaves with the feeling of being ripped off. Itwon’t take more to figure out that we will NEVER go to this restaurant again or recommend it to our enemies!!

  Wonderful place for fresh and delicious food. It is difficult to find a restaurant which makes good fresh food. We had food from this place twice: one takeout and one stay in. Both time the food was very good. They take time to prepare their food well. It may make the service slow. Some may not like it, but I prefer it, because the outcome is excellent! We had tandoori chicken, boneless chicken tikka, pan fried shrimp (although gravy) and chicken karahi (curry). All were made fresh and tasted awesome. The naan is fresh and good too. I would highly recommend this place.

  Went once with friends, food was ok but service was slow, dishes weren’t clean and half the Buffett items were empty. Would not repeat.
