Being there are no Armenian restaurants in Edmonton or Calgary we are always in search of a great Middle Eastern place. Shiraz was amazing! We found it by chance. Didnt realize it was right across from the hotel we were staying at. We walked in and it smelt like Home. We had the soltani (spelling may be wrong) and a chicken and beef plate. We also had one of the eggplant appetizers and salad. The rice was almost exactly like my fathers. It was unfortunate we only came for lunch and we wanted to try more. It was noticeable that we were the only people that the owners didnt know and they took care of us soo well. Great options, prices were great. When Im Edmonton, we will continue to go!
