Very nice customer service but the quality and quantity of food will likely lead to their demise. Small, flavorless dishes that are unfortunately overpriced. Chef will need to change as meals are not on par with other Thai options in Edmonton.
We ordered take out. The restaurant was clean.The dcorhad a verycozy Thai feeling. The service is very good and personable.The food was excellent.SpicyDrunken Noodles were so good. ChickenCoconutSoup wasfantastic as well and the Red CurryBeef was great. The price for the portions is actually really good because you have a lot left over. This is a really cool little hidden Gem for great Thai food, and it’s open Sundays.
We were greeted by a very friendly server when we came in, it took us a while to decide on what to get because everything is so unreasonably overpriced… we decided on getting take out. Yellow curry, Long Song (choice of beef, chicken or shrimp with broccoli and peanut sauce) with a side of rice cost us $46.00. A SMALL SIDE OF RICE WAS $5.00! The portions were disappointing but I have to say the Yellow Curry was tasty. We will never go back again because it really wasn’t worth it.
We were very disappointed in the food. Delivery took an hour and when it arrived the curry had spilled, portions were tiny, our 2 currys were different sizes and the stirfry was terrible- chicken with 2 pieces of tomato, 2 pieces of cucumber and no rice. Food was also overpriced. Will not order again!
Expensive and small portions. Portions are way too small and expensive on top of that. Asked for 3 bowls of rice thinking they were just as small in portion as their dishes. They came out to be the size of 3 regular rice bowls, and when we asked for the bill, we realized they charged us $18 for the rice! Thats ridiculous. Not coming again
Sad and Disappointed. I am so sad that Bangkok Express has been replaced with this place. I tried this place after the renovations and was severely disappointed. The food isnt bad tasting, but for the price and the portions you get it is definitely NOT worth it. Bangkok Express was delicious, fast and affordable. I used to go there at least a couple times a week. Needless to say, I wont be returning to this restaurant. PLEASE bring Bangkok Express back!!
Way too expensive!. I have to say I really do miss Bangkok Express. This place is way too expensive. I’m not saying the food is gross, it’s not bad but it is definitely not worth it for me to order a Red Curry for like $20. The rice is also very mushy so not very appetizing. I don’t know why they’ve priced their food so high because you don’t your money’s worth. I definitely won’t be going back.
