Terrible service. 20 min wait for drinks , had to order again. Food orders are mixed up and wrong. Food is mediocre at best. Drink menu is decent. People , stop going to the Rec Room. It’s generic trash. Spend your money on quality , unique establishments. There are plenty of amazing places to eat in Edmonton. The Rec Room is NOT one of them.
Sunny Covered Patio! Stopped by for a few drinks before a comedy show at The Rec Room. This Patio is really great. Covered and enclosed so its easy to enjoy it even when the weather isn’t great. When we showed up the garage door windows were closed but the attentive waitress gladly opened them for us and the Patio became alive! Being a west facing Patio, the sun shines onto the sleek, upscale tables all afternoon. Lots of greenery throughout the space and also some TVs with the baseball game on.Music was great and the craft beer selection was decent. Bacon covered Popcorn chicken is worth a try. A great Patio to check out. (there is a Roof Top Patio overhead that wasn’t open yet but we were told that it will be opening soon)Staff and Service: 9/10Food and Drink: 7/10Ambience: 8/10ONE CHANGE: Disappointing that there are no drink specials. Having a daily beer special is a great idea to bring people to your Patio.

Waited for the waitress for 15 to take our drink orders followed by dirty glasses that we sent back and waited again for our drinks to arrive. Pizza and salad seemed like they took forever to come out of the kitchen. Both are lacking flavor. Poor service and no flavor makes for no return visits from this table
I tried the poutine at the poutine station: although the fries are marvelous (fresh, hand cut and tossed in oil type), the gravy/meat/cheese/veggies depending on which one you get is standard. Good, but I’ve definitely had better.
