When I crave for Korean spicy tofu soup, this is the place I always come here. Came in on Friday night with a group of 2, it was a bit busy night, but didnt wait long to get the food. I think they have more staffs than before.Kimchi FREE 4.5/5I love all three kind of kimchi (bean sprout, regular spicy kimchi, and fish cake) and they are free and you can eat as much as you want. I always ask for refill for the bean sprout and the fish cake.Seafood and green onion pancake $20 4/5Seafood pancake is not cheap, but this pancake came with reasonable and acceptable amount of seafood. I love how they cooked the inside a bit longer than before (before was a bit raw/ runny inside but crispy outside) but still crispy outside.Fish egg soft tofu $17 4.5/5Not a lot of places that you can get fish egg tofu, so when I come here, I always get the fish egg tofu and it comes with a big stone bowl of rice. The soup was a bit spicy, as a spicy lover, I really enjoyed it but if you cant handle spicy food, this is too spicy for you.Hot stone port bibimbap $15 4/5I cant comment about this as I didnt try it, but was told it was pretty good. especially the stone bowl was very hot, so when you close to finish, some of the rice got extra crispy.Services 4.5/5 Overall food 4/5Would I recommend Yes

LOVE IT. The waitress/waiters are really nice and considerate. Although sometimes the food takes a bit to come, it’s nice and hot when it comes out and nothing has ever disappointed. Definitely recommending to all my friends.

I went during lunch hours and it was not that busy at all. It quite big inside and very cute with all the lights. Kind of like a karaoke bar – but not really. I got the spicy seafood noodles, which were extremely spicy and this is coming from someone that loves spicy food. Not that much seafood in the bowl but I noticed that at a lot of Korean restaurants. The portion sizes are extremely large and the prices are fairly pricy as well. The service was very well when I went in. This may possibly be due to the fact that I was one of the only customers. All in all, not bad. I will need to come back to try other things.

I can give more than 4.0 if their service faster. Good quality food and nice service but sometimes they can not handle too many people even though they have a huge place!

A subpar Korean restaurant. My friend and I decided to try Tofu House for the first time on a Sunday evening as we both had heard good things about it and its huge portion sizes. As we entered, we noticed that there were many features left from the old Swiss Chalet restaurant that was here, including a takeout area for pickup separate from the rest of the restaurant and having a (non-operating) drive-thru. The restaurant is huge! We were worried it would be busy since there was no parking outside but when we entered the place still had plenty of seating. My friend and I were seated and looking at their initial menu we had two initial reactions: The menu is huge, and the prices were huge too. We ordered the seafood pancake and both got our own stew and soup dishes. The seafood pancake was huge and justified the price ($19), and was fairly good. The soups were fairly bland and diluted, and the beef in my soup was very tough and left me with a not great after-taste. As a whole, the food seemed underwhelming, overpriced, and fairly bland.Service was average, it definitely wasn’t fantastic but wasn’t horrible by any stretch of the imagination. I liked the decor though! All in all, this place was overpriced (however you do get the portion size for what you pay), and I found the food fairly bland. Among the competitive Korean restaurant market in South Edmonton, I’d pass over Tofu House for one of the many other places nearby. Not recommended.

I have been going here ever since they have opened.1. Their tofu soup is really good. But better when they first opened. Somehow I feel, everything was more fresh and looked more delicious when they first opened. It almost felt like authentic korean tofu house in Vancouver which is one of my favourite. But now, it is still good, but not the best I had.2. They have quite extensive menu, since they opened. They have added too much menu in my opinion. I tried their kan-poon ki, which is fried meat in korean-chinese style. They had very tiny meat inside them. Basically i am paying over $22+ for batter?? If you can’t cook it right, they shouldn’t present it to customers. I know economics is little tough, and ingredients price is rising, but they should price them accordingly.
