Came here for a fundraiser event, and the dueling pianos were a ton of fun. However I am solely rating the food: the braised beef short rib with mashed potatoes was super tender and fell off the bone. A very generous portion and was very satisfied afterwards. Also had the triple layer chocolate ganache cake…it was only ok (reminded me of the desserts Costco sells). I was a big fan of the Smirnoff Ice Peach Bellini, didn’t even know they existed haha. The food was good but only to dine here while enjoying the show.
My most recent visit was way better than my experience two years ago. I remember the food being inedible, but last night, the wings and nachos were surprisingly decent. The nachos were big portion, the chips were fresh and there was a good amount of toppings. The wings were hot and crispy, though not very meaty. The food went from being truly horrific to average. Still, you wouldn’t come here to eat, but for the duelling pianos. Also, shots are not watered down at all and decently priced. I had a great time but unfortunately, those shots caught up to me. Overall, I like this place to go with a group of friends and get silly for the night. hittingthesauce.wordpress.com
Aussie Rules is a super fun piano bar. You will definitely have a lot of fun however, my rating is strictly on their food. If you’re coming to eat, don’t bother. The food is expensive and just not worth it. The waffle fries seemed to be the only decent snack on the menu even though I found it a bit too salty for my liking. We had a burger and the Yorkshire pudding. The pastry was thick and the filling was cold. The gravy hardened so fast. Eat before you come!!
