I was a bit surprised when friends and family recommended this place to me and I was also surprised they didn’t have such a wide variety of toppings like I am used too. Overall my chicken shawarma was really good, a bit mushy at the end but I think that’s expected after it sits a while. The beef donair that my brother had was pretty awesome. Portions are big for their value and you can’t expect to have a small meal here. Overall I would definitely recommend and the service was fantastic.
Good value. I had the chicken, it was well seasoned, tasty and fresh. i was happy with the food. place was clean, and lady was nice… not sure why others are not happy.
This place is awesome. I am 20 years old this place has been here since I was born I had the privileged of going their after not being their for ten years I ordered a deluxe donair they gave me lots of meat and lots of veggies like 10x the amount of subway every bite tasted supper good the meat is perfect
Never Dissapoints!!. These guys have been open for over 20 years. I remember when they used to be a smaller place in the middle of the mall, back in the day. I used to go there in high school, now I’m married with kids and its a weekly thing to bring the family for donairs and shawarmas. Meat is the best in Calgary and everywhere else I’ve tried doesn’t come close. Also the sweet sauce is bang on. My wife usually gets the veggie platters or falafel. I love that its a mom and pop shop. The owners are great, the kids work there and are polite too and lots of fun- awesome service. Now they have some workers there -Some good, and on some occasions not so much. Only gripe would be not having olives and banana peppers.
I go to this place for consistently good food! Never had a bad donair! The staff is always friendly and appreciate your business!! Nuff said!
Great service, Great Kebab. Went there today and the service was great. Exactly what you would expect from an authentic kebab. Normally I’m used to the meat being lamb, but beef was just as good, if not better. Service was also excellent, there was a massive line in front of us and the lady ploughed through it very quickly, without compromising quality.
Great service and great food. I have been going to this ‘My Donair’ location for 3-5 years now and have never been let down.
