What can I say?. Let me think…what have we tried? Their perogies is what made me walk through the door. We’ve also had the carrot muffins, the scorbars, meat pies and ginger type cookies. Being of Ukranian decent, my expectations of the perogies were quite high. Joyfully, I was not disappointed. The carrot muffins were to die for, and the rest, well, there was a party in my mouth every time I took a bite. Which honestly wasn’t often, as all the gluten free cooking in my house goes to my twelve year old son. Needless to say, he had to beat me back with a spoon.I can’t express how delighted I was to find People Food. I don’t live in Calgary and to find a store like this is like a goldmine…I don’t want to share because that means less perogies when I come to visit! Honestly, the food is amazing and the people are fantastic.
