Freson Bros Takeout. Well I have been to Freson Bros three times now for small amounts of groceries (about $100 each time) and have been very impressed with the quality of produce and meat products (pepperoni, rib eye steaks, garlic sausage).Today I decided to try the Freson Bros kitchen takeout meals, specifically the pulled pork family meal for $30 which comes with 2 lbs of pulled pork, 2 sides and 4 dinner rolls.For our sides I chose potato wedges and steamed brocoli, carrots and cauliflower. When I got home we immediately tried the food. The pulled pork was amazing! On a par with the best I’ve ever had, tender and tasty with lots of bark. The potato wedges were dried out, not very good, while the vegetables were fresh (hard to screw up steamed vegetables). Dinner rolls were fresh and delicious. Overall a 8/10 (only because of the dried out wedges). Otherwise price was perfectly acceptable if only for the quality of pulled pork. Will be back again to try another family meal (chicken , ribs and beef available).Evam
