Coming here to grab a bubble tea to go is the only thing you’ll do. Walking into the door and glimpsing inside to a gloomy lit room and dated decor made me feel like it was a brothel. The restaurant is screaming for a face lift. Wait for the drinks were timely and the girl at the cash was very nice and friendly. I couldn’t see anyone wanting to come here to study or hangout- there’s a funky smell and it’s way too dark.

The best bubble tea in town. The downside is a lot of other people know this to and it’s busy. I admit I am addicted to their bubble teas and they are pricey but believe me worth every penny. The owner is friendly and I notice the service is the best when he is around.

Selection. Personally, Taiwan Express stands out from other bubble tea places because of their selection. Like most bubble tea places, they have a wide range of artificial and real fruit bubble tea flavours. But not only that, they also have a solid selection for food such their Taiwanese Crispy Chicken (which I really enjoy), and have even started to serve various iced green and black teas, with bubble tea additions. For example, I would get a Wu Long cold tea with sugar, tapioca and lychee. This is great for people like myself who like regular teas, and find green tea especially refreshing in the summer time. Having them cold and with those additions makes it even more summery. Lastly they have a great selection of games to play as well, so going to Taiwan Express can be a shared experience with friends and family, rather than just an in out place for a drink. I especially recommend their new flavours for their iced tea menu, they really are refreshing.
