Came here for buck a shuck for our anniversary and was really disappointed with the service. We ordered 24 oysters and it took over an hour to get some more, we sat with empty plates for 30 minutes before she even came by to take the rest of our order also our drinks were empty most of the time . Our section wasnt full and I understand its a busy night but the level of service tonight was horrible. I wont be coming back here any time soon
I ate at Vons in late May, 2018. I made a reservation for a group of 10 in the dining room. The day of the reservation I received a phone call from Vons saying they had moved our reservation to the lounge. The reason for the dining room closure was not stated but presumably it was due to an under staffing issue.The food was good, but not really worth the price. A side of cheesy asparagus was brought out without cheese; a steak was served med-well when it was asked to be done of medium. Other than that there were no problems with the food.The server we had was good at her job and made us feel taken care of when she was at the table, but was clearly spread too thin. It took her over 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks and another 20 minutes to take our food orders. Multiple people in the party were waiting for drinks to be run to us from the bar. Other servers were running their own drinks while ours sat ready to be served on the bar. This caused less drinks to be ordered, a few members of the party complained afterwards about this.For a high end steakhouse this experience was not good. Most of the issues we experienced were due to poor management i.e. scheduling and lack of teamwork within the serving team.I would not eat here again and I would not recommend this restaurant. There are other options in the same price range, which are much more brushed up on proper hospitality and work culture.
