Rude service, dirty restaurant. I wonder if they hate white people, because they were rude to me on the phone when I placed the order, and two employees were rude when I went in to pick up my order. I was nothing but polite the whole time, but I definitely won’t go back and won’t recommend to others.
My favorite restaurant in Calgary period. If youre looking for chicken ball, ginger beef (or other Canadian Chinese food) this is probably not for you. The food is absolutely tasty, and the owner always take the time to help me with the menu. This is pretty much our go-to place for dinner this year and I am not exaggerating (my wife and I pretty much go there at least once every week to try out different dishes). Items I strongly recommend include:A1. Shredded Beef & Beef Trip in Chili SauceP5. Shredded Pork with Chili & Garlic SauceF2. Boiled Sliced Fish Filet with ChiliB1. Boiled Sliced Beef & Vegetables in Spicy Soup
Long’s is my favorite restaurant in Calgary. My favorite dishes are P2, F2, and V22. Leftover take-out is equally delicious and if you take home the fish dish the spicy soup base can be added to anything for fabulous packed lunches. Beers are ice cold and the staff is very friendly. Five stars out of five.
Hostile servers, mediocre food, apparent language barrier. Wouldn’t give this place a second go if I was starved!
Truly awful and horrible! Avoid at all costs!. If you don’t speak Mandarin Chinese, don’t even enter. I walked into this place and spoke English. They looked at me like I had 4 heads or something. I ordered the Dan Dan noodle. It’s a joke. $9 for a really tiny bowl. I did not bother to order anything else, paid and left since they ignored me and technically no service for me! I left the place as hungry as I first went it. Avoid these Chinese mafia at all costs! They should not be allowed to run a business like this, simply horrible!
First, I think the food is good but it depends on which dish you order. Then, the service is just terrible. We ordered 4 dishes, the first one came after 30 mins of waiting and the second one came 10 mins later. After we finally got our third dish, we asked for our fourth one since it’s almost an hour passed by. The server checked the kitchen and told us they haven’t even started on it. The first 30 mins of waiting, no one checked on our table, no one explained what happened, and no intention of checking the kitchen before we asked. I probably wounldn’t come here again unless I got no where else to go.
I did not know that part of china exist. It’s spicy as advertisedDumplings were great but the spicy fish soup is way too gooey stay away from it The cold noodles are thick and staleOverall it’s a place I would not go back
