Although the Goa Lamb Curry that we ordered from here was alright, it lacked the richness of flavor that usually comes from the coconut milk that is used in this dish… it had an excessively watery consistency, although the meat was tender and good quality. I was shocked, though, that the Kashmiri Rice Pilau we ordered seemed to be a day old. It was not fluffy like freshly cooked rice always is. In addition, it was not salted at all. The rice was undercooked, and stuck together like something that was thawed from a frozen state and given to us. This meal was not cooked with any passion. How can you screw up rice? This restaurant is not worth its rating. I will not visit here again nor recommend it.
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it! I highly recommend their chicken tikka masala, chicken samosas, saffron rice, garlic naan and sesame naan. I’ve had tons of other great dishes but those are my go-to’s.
Nice curry and nice naan! Only been there one time, can’t give a lot of suggestion but for sure worth a try! The desert per photo is also a plus! The decor is nice with warm atmosphere.
Chana masala just like India!!! Butter chicken… a little different but tasty none the lessGarlic nan and saffron rice is alway my fav well eating India and they sure don’t disappoint on that front. Really friendly staff that will help guide you through there large menu! Not spicy so I say it’s good for the whole family!
I’ve been to quite a few downtown Indian restaurants and this one is the best so far (haven’t been to Namskar though). What sets them apart is the freshness of ingredients and taste. You can tell they are doing things a bit different in the kitchen and the food is delightful. It’s constantly busy so I think this speaks volumes on its own. I go for the under $20 lunch buffet and they have about 10 solid dishes to choose from, including amazing naan! Can’t wait to go back soon.
Some of the best East Indian food I have ever had! I had the waiter order their favourite dishes for us so that we could try a little of everything and everything we tried was fantastic. So good and rich with perfect amount of spice. I could not stop eating and would highly recommend.
Had a great diner at Moti Mahal on Friday night. I could go on about the food but the fish pakora appetizer stood out as tasted amazing. Also, make a reservation if you go on Friday night as it was packed.
