My first pizza to try when I moved to Calgary in ’93. Prices are great (especially when opting to get the 2nd pizza for next to nothing) & quality is good. Nothing fancy but overall satisfying. Their thin crust is really good & consistent with quality & flavour.
So me and my boyfriend have different opinionson this place- the last time we ordered it he said it reminded him of frozen pizza, and that it was the worst pizza he’s had in a long time. But I’m the one writing the review 😛 I thought it was great! We’ve ordered pick up from here twice, and I LOVE their thin crust. It’s so light and crispy, and it makes pigging out on pizza relatively guilt free. I did agree with him that the second time the crust wasn’t as crispy, I think that they pulled it from the oven a bit early because we arrived to pick it up early. It was actually better the next day because without the hot toppings on it it firmed up a bit. Though their bell peppers weren’t the freshest. I’d definitely recommend Rio, and I know I’ll be back again (hey if he doesn’t want it, it just means more for me :P).
Not sure what they do to make such AMAZING thin-crust pizza…my husband and I are totally addicted and get delivery about every two weeks!! We get the greek thin-crust with artichokes and on the 2nd pizza: pineapple, mushrooms, green olive and banana peppers and it is a total PARTY in your mouth! Truly the best pizza we’ve ever had and one of the really nice things about it is it tastes ‘light’! ie: I don’t feel guilty after eating it as it is all flavour and no goopy, greasy, mess. YUM! Once you try it, you are hooked.
This is hands down the best pizza in town. It has the most perfect thin crust anyone could ever dream of. Service is also great good people good food
The best takeout/delivery pizza in Calgary. I always order the white crust meatlovers, and it has never disappointed. My absolute favorite pizza of all time. Truly a hidden gem.
Best pizza I’ve had ever, hands down. Get the thin crust. Great price, 2nd pizza is only $3. My new and only fave pizza place. The lady who runs it is such a sweetheart too. Go here you’ll fall in love with pizza all over again.
Pizza Lover. Best pizza ever. I have been ordering there pizza for over 20 years and forget the chains these guys make the best. Lot’s of toppings and crust is cooked just right.
