Great place to go grab a quick bite, settle in with a glass of wine with friends or watch the big game. Menu is always changing, offering new and creative feature items. Wing night is always a hit, try the deep fried bacon–Drool! Some of the best pizza in town as well, homemade crusts and ingredients make a huge difference! Will keep coming back.
Came in on a Friday night and had the mix and match tacos- SO GOOD. Way better than other tacos in the neighbourhood. Great prices and food. Friends had a burger and it was also delicious. We’d definitely come back.
I made my first visit to this pub on Friday night. My expectations were not high since I was not too attached to the atmosphere. (sorry). However, I noticed the table next to ours had a great looking pizza, so I knew what to order right away. We hate the spinach and artichoke pizza (I added shrimp). It was tasty, but a little too much cheese for me. (However, I know most people like that, so its not a negative on their part). Drink menu had okay selection, but I had beer for a change. Prices are totally fine and reasonable. What struck me the most was my great service. Everywhere I go,genuine service is hard to find. I know this is par for for course these days and hopefully it will change soon. However, Lily was our server and she was fantastic. Its the reason why I am writing this review as I was super impressed with her caring and attentive service. I wish there were more servers like her around. Next time I return, I will be looking for her.I also saw plates going out to other tables, and the food looked really appetizing. I will have to try other items when I return during my 4 months working in Kensington. I think all this place needs is a little refreshing and minor renovation to match the decor with food and service. Could be a little gem in the community. But, I realize it takes time and money when a new owner takes over an establishment.
I really thought the tacos I had at Tenth Street Landing were great. They were so fresh (grilled fish), with good portions. And the beef dip was great too; the bread was tasty and crusty, and the meat was cut thin and not fatty. The atmosphere is sports pub, the food definitely gastropub.
Tried this ‘gastropub’ yesterday. It was pub food, don’t pretend. Not impressed. Wouldn’t go back. Even house red kind of sucked. No drink menu existed. Very mediocre. Each ingredient in my sandwhich, sucked.
