Nice inexpensive restaurant by sunridge cineplex. Great place to grab a bite before and after the movies. My friend & I had the regular chicken shawarmas with all the veggies and a bit of their hot sauce. Loved it! Fast service and clean. Will come back again.
Best ever!. I can taste the care the sister put in the food. The lamb Kabsa was so delicious!Jazak Allahu Khairun
We were in the area and saw the sign up for schwarma and decided to stop in. Best idea ever! Tried the mediterranean platter and mousakka. Everything was delicious! Our tastebuds were titilated. So good. A must try. We shall return and hopefully soon.
Delicious Food. I have been going there for years and always turned out to be a good experience. Food is delicious freshly prepared, however, service sucks. I believe if they improve their service, this place will rock. Best Mediterranean food I have ever tasted in Calgary.
Je Reviens. Babylon Qithara is a quirky little gem, and I keep coming back to it. The service is a little off-kilter, but so what? The food is great. Both the babaganoush and hummus are wonderful. Highly recommend any of the platters. Pace yourself and don’t fill up on bread – the portions are quite generous.
Good!!. Tried the chicken shawarma & the kibbi the shawarma was delicious but mess had it all over myself but was worth it kibbi was not very good & was pretty dry but everything else I tried was good
Kebabs and Baba Ghanoush. The smell tempted us as we walked in the door. We began our meal with baba ghanoush and fresh hot bread (yum!). We would prefer more garlic in the baba ghanoush but it was still good. For our main course we ordered the 6 kebabs – 2 each of beef, chicken and lamb – my favourite was the lamb although it was all good. We also had the fattoush salad, as tasty as it was it was a bit salty. I loved the ambience, huge family groups eating together.
