Worst dinner of my life. I’ve been to many East Indian restaurant and this is by far the worst. Biryani was not tasty. The rice was way over cooked and the meat was chewy. Also ordered chicken sheesh kebab. Chicken kebabs is one of my favourite dishes and I like to try it in every East Indian restaurant I go to. Here, it was disgusting. It was really dry. Really really dry. All I tasted was some kind of spice. It was such a weird taste. I’ve never had kebabs as bad as they serve it here. I’m from out of town and only decided to try this place because I bought a Groupon. I will not recommend it to anyone.
Worth the money for Lunch Buffet. I work very close to here and I gotta say that I was very very surprised how yummy the buffet was.The selection that they had was very delicious and they also gave us fresh Naan bread. I got 2 meals for about $22 bucks. Id said it was worth it, considering I loaded my go to box.
Average food and small portions. Used a groupon for 4 for dinner. The portions were extremely small for the prices they charged. $14 for 7 bite sized chicken breast in the butter chicken. The butter and garlic nan were delicious though. Average food small portions and over priced.
Found this gem last night. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I ordered something from the Tandoori menu and our server warned us that it takes a little longer and suggested an appetizer. We didn’t feel like we were being ‘sold’ an appetizer just to spend more money but rather that they were just trying to make us comfortable because my food would be longer than normal. Simple but tasteful decor and a good overall feel. We will be back.
So good!. I originally went with a groupon and have been back three times since. Today my husband and I tried the lunch buffet(for 11.99- awesome value and it included naan); there was a tonne of vegitarian to choose from and I am a huge fan of rice pudding!! I love this place and can’t get enough of the naan. These guys should definitely get their food truck out there; Centenial Park would be a great fit! I’ll be back for sure! I read some complaints on here and I am honestly shocked!

My family bought a groupon and thought we would try the food at Desi Grill. My familyoved the food. Not a big restaurant so we had to wait for a table bigEnough to sit all 6 of us. The food took awhile to come but it was worth the wait. The food is delicious. The butter naan bread was a family favourite.
