There are better Indian restaurants in Calgary… Pathetic food and worst customer service experience!! Very rude staff :(Don’t get deceived by the fake reviews and 4 start ratings… Hot Millions don’t even deserve 1 star… I would have given 0 star if possible!!
I would have given 3 stars in terms of food quality but courtesy to one staff member must be in late 50s-short in height… Really worst Experience- I went with my kids and was trying to spend some quality time with them…. But this guy came to my table and started complaining about the left over food by my kids in front of hubby while he was finishing his meal…. Really how sick is that????? I will never ever ever recommend any of my friends to this restaurant….. That’s nightmare to hear rant while you are eating your food and paid for it
We heard about this place on CBC Radio. It was FANTASTIC!!!! Absolutely Delicious We are all about Indian food and this was some of the BEST we’ve ever had. We’ll be back again and again.
Heard about this place on the CBC eyeopener, and glad I did.The place is clean, and nicely decorated. The service was polite, attentive, and helpful. The menu is a useful length, not just numbers and repetition.Everything we ordered was superb, and we had a mountain still to take home.I live in the deep sw, and would drive back happily! This is a 2 1/2 year old restaurant, so dont be worried about decreasing quality.Head there, but maybe make reservations, 90% of the tables had reservation signs.
We called them and we were trying to ask questions about the food and I guess the girl on the phone got sick of the questions (which she couldn’t even answer properly) and just hung up on us. I wouldn’t even dare to go into a place like this with such attitude.
Ordered a take out. A veggie briyani and an order of veggie pakora. Told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Waited over 45 mins. No apology offered. Busy restaurant with one server and I saw maybe 2 cooks. Rice dish was small portion but expensive and mostly carrots in it. I got one small piece of broccoli and about 2 pieces of cauliflower (in a veggie dish!!!!) and no almonds or cashews as advertised. Again pakora numbered about 6 pieces – not good value for the cost. I might skip this place in the future- many other excellent Indian restaurants in the area.
Stopped by for lunch and they have a buffet for $14.95, so thought I’d stay and try out their food. They have a small buffet table in the back of the restaurant with about 10 or 12 dishes available. Butter chicken, Lamb, Fish Pakora, Chicken Pakora, Vegetable Pakora, Papadum, Rice, Dal Makhani, and a couple of other Vegetable options. Their buffet starts at 11:00…I was there around noon and unfortunately all the food was cold or barely warm. Should’ve asked them to microwave it. On the plus side, the naan was generously buttered and absolutely delicious. Service is decent- there’s a guy that fills your water and takes your plate when you’re finished.
