Good spot, spacious restaraunt and quite busy. Overall good ! I had the sate beef spring roll vermicelli. Service is fast so a good place for a quick lunch.
Food is Always consistent, hot and tasty! Service is always fast. Staff are friendly pleasant. Have yet to have a bad meal there, always good food!
I am a big fan of this restaurant. The pho is fantastic. I especially love the #36 and #38. Highly recommend if you want a bit of a kick. The staff are incredibly fast and very curteous. The price is great and it’s right beside the movie theatre (pretty good date night?)
Very spacious restaurant, lots of parking. Service is fast and friendly. First time trying this restaurant, ordered the pho dac biet broth was flavourful if only they could add more tendons. Price is fair will definitely return
This is very nice for a Vietnamese restaurant! I love the high ceilings and beautiful art. Very big and spacious as well. The Pho Sate though is not the best I’ve had. It was pretty average. They give you a lot of beef but I would’ve liked it to have been a richer, thicker Sate. More ingredients such as onion etc would’ve been nice too.Overall 3/5 as it is quite average but has an above average interior.
This Vietnamese spot has been around for at least 10 years that I’ve been in Calgary. And while pho spots are a plenty in YYC I’ve been here several times over the years. My latest visit from a several years hiatus had the decor remain the same with a clean and modern feel with traditional ambience. Just like I remember. The food was not quite up to snuff with what I thought I remembered. We ordered the beef and onions on lettuce and tomatoes which was tasty but really wet. The seafood was also … soupy. Don’t get me wrong, we ate it all but the drip dry method did hamper our consumption pace. Go figure, the one time I don’t order soup at an Asian spot I get it anyway lol. I’d come back again, as memory still serves to be a better impression than this time.
I wrote a an honest and detailed review for this place before, but it was removed. This time I will keep it simple. The broth has no flavor. Food is subpar to those who are more familiar to Vietnamese food. Those who are new may not know better.
