I have tried this establishment out a few times due to its location to my place, however I just cant get on with it. I find almost every dish I have had here to be a little light on flavour. Although the portions are really large and that can truly be appealing to a lot of people. I have had the spring rolls, veggie rolls, pho, vermicelli, stir fried noodles… the list goes on.. I just havent found any wow factor here. The service is always really good, friendly people working here no doubt, JUST GIVE ME SOMETHING TO VOME BACK FOR !
Ordered the curried beef with rice – it was exquisite! it came with rice and the price was super reasonable. The place was packed (and I now know why). I’d highly recommend this place for Vietnamese food hands down.
Had a lunch meeting here because my client said it was one of his favourite places in calgary to eat PHO. I had the com bo luc lac and it was probably one of the worst I’ve had. Maybe next time I’ll try the pho. It the beef was stale and chewy, most likely over cooked.
