I’m a regular guest at the hotel and have eaten here many times. Food is consistent but not spectacular. However service of late has really gone downhill. Ric’s is regularly understaffed resulting in poor, slow and usually unfriendly service – not acceptable at their prices. Would recommend elsewhere for dinner. It could stand for some seasonal specials too. A decent option for breakfast though.

Very good food here. When I was here I had the dijon lamb chops and they were done perfectly and seasoned so well. They also have very good calamari. Not overcooked and the added vegetables is very nice addition to calamari. This place is a must when in north Calgary.
I was at the Four Points for a meeting and during our lunch break, I decided to stop by at Ric’s. I don’t know what I was thinking but I ended up getting their Kobe beef burger and wow. First off, I never, ever had a Kobe beef burger and secondly, I’m not sure if this was real Kobe beef, but overall, very, very good. This is probably the best burger I had in Calgary. Service was quick and staff was friendly.
InstYed at the attached Sheraton Four Points for business. I had a great dinner on the first night – warm kale salad & a veganized pizza. The staff was attentive & very helpful. I just had breakfast before heading home, and was very pleasantly surprised to find a vegan tofu scramble on the breakfast menu! Awesome!!!!
My husband was on a business trip and we came across this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. We came here twice during the trip. The food was absolutely prepared well and tasted very yummy. I ordered fish and it was cooked to perfection – cooked throughout yet still moist and juicy inside. My husband ordered steak both times, and again it was cooked to exactly how he’d like it. A lot of restaurants we’ve been to over cook the steak, but Ric’s Lounge & Grill nailed it both times. The service was awesome. The manager was very warm and friendly. The server (Amanda) was very polite, attentive and thoughtful. We would come here again next time we visit the city. Good job!
Purchased the Groupon awhile back and decided to use it last weekend. The restaurant was not busy on a Sunday night. The food was okay, nothing special but would definitely filled you up.
